Nashville, Tennessee

This modern ranch-style home had been flipped for resale and offered a clean, well-structured layout. But while the bones were strong, the all-white palette—walls, cabinets, bathrooms, even furniture—left the space feeling cold and impersonal, more like a waiting room than a welcoming home. We knew the property needed more than surface-level updates; it needed a soul that reflected Nashville itself. Our vision was to infuse the home with the city’s energy, music, and personality, while still keeping it comfortable for families and groups gathering in Music City.

To achieve that, we layered in bold, glossy colors—reds, greens, and greys—that evoked Nashville’s urban cowboy grit and boho boutique charm. We sourced antiques to anchor the home in history, added playful design touches like clam- and pearl-shaped kitchen cabinet pulls under a portrait of Dolly Parton, and transformed one bedroom with built-in bunks and leopard wallpaper for a sense of whimsy. Instead of a traditional dining table, we created a cozy booth area that invites conversation and feels at home in a city known for community and song. By reshaping the home with character and purpose, the once-sterile flip became a vibrant enclave that captures the true spirit of Nashville.
